A famous favorite of my family is the Tortilla Roll-ups recipe. We bring it to cocktail parties, Superbowl parties, tailgates and family get-togethers. Some people call these "spicy pinwheels", because I like them with a little kick. In fact, my Fiance's family makes them with completely different ingredients. Here is the recipe, don't tell mama I'm giving it out.
Tortilla Roll-ups
8 oz. Cream Cheese -(Low fat is fine)
2 Tablespoons Mayo
Small can of chopped black Olives
2 Tablespoons of Chopped Jalapeno slices
1 package of flour Tortillas
1 bunch of green onions
Here are the steps:
Finely chop 1 bunch of green onions.
Add to the softened cream cheese chopped onions, jalapenos, olives, and mayo.
Mix everything together.
Drop about 3 Tablespoons onto a flour torilla
Spread mixture evenly.
Start rolling from one end, like a burrito.
Once all tortillas are rolled... store in the fridge for about an hour, or until ready to serve.
Once chilled, cut into about 1/2 an inch slices.
These are great dipped in salsa.
Enjoy, and repeat.
