Fall is in the air...

Even though it's still 82 degrees outside (which I am completely fine with) fall is just around the corner. Here are the mini decorations we have done around the house...

Up above in the kitchen.

Supposedly these keep spiders away from your basement... and they are pretty. I think someone made that up.

The "welcome candle" provided by mom, from Nell Hill.

The tutu wreath, explained here.

Little beware sign, tied onto the wreath.

Darling little blue and white vase from the Wilson's... and a pumpkin on the pedestal. Wedding guest books underneath.

Little Halloween town.

fyi - in case I forget to tell you.....hedge apples are supposed to keep away crickets.....maybe spiders, too....though personally I think there's a secret society of people who tell these kinds of things to those of us who were not born and raised in this fabulous state they call Kansas.
