I'm meeting with a client today about grout color in the kitchen backsplash. Today's question is white, or (the more modern trend) gray? I happen to be a big fan of the light gray grout with white subway tile, because it adds dimension.
Don't get me wrong, I also love a clean splash like below... but think it's more interesting to do a light gray.
What's your opinion? Are you white on rice or in the gray zone?
This color is my fave.

I agree with you- I think adding gray grout adds dimension!
I am all for the light gray!
Totally agree. That is the only thing I would change about my bathroom - the grout color.
I like the gray! Great photos!!

I find it really hard to choose - they're such different looks to me. I really like the gray, but I can also see it being too busy in a small space. Can I say, it depends? :)
I like the white grout. In pictures, the grey grout looks dirty to me, like the grout used to be white but hasn't been cleaned in a while. Maybe in person it looks different.
I did white grout with my subway tile and it looks really fresh. That said - I could see grey being really pretty. I definitely dont think its for everyone though
we added the gray grout n our kitchen in our LV home, looks fantastic! :)))
