Holiday Tables: Tartan Chic Christmas Part One

This year was the first for Lauren Johnson Interiors to showcase in Holiday Tables. My theme was a "Tartan Chic Christmas" with hints of equestrian and glamour. It was so fun to do the event, and I have so many photos to show y'all. Part one, here we go...
Here's how it all began:
Sorry for the Pom Girl pose. I guess you can take the girl out of the highschool, but you can't take the highschool out of the girl :) The sign says Lauren Johnson Interiors...
My handy man, hanging the mirror...
Ralph Lauren was placed at the head of the table of course.

Lantern hanging above the table for drama.

Bulldogs go nicely with Tartan plaid.
Would you like a glass of champagne?

Nate Berkus was also invited... duh.
Oh deer.
Here's the whole buffet behind the table. There are close-ups and detail on this tomorrow.

Stay tuned for part two tomorrow... hope you like!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I happen to love the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping and decorating. This year we have decorated our house to the max, and I'm afraid I won't want to take it down. See our decor below, and I hope it spreads a little Christmas cheer!

O' Christmas Tree...

A present for you...

The flowers that grow as fast as germs. But beautiful..

The stockings were hung with care...

Red Tartan plaid I just am obsessed with this year. I covered the books that are normally on my mantel in it.

Deer Santa.

The masterpiece thanks to Nell Hill.

Don't worry these stockings are temporary for this year... until I find ones that are poy-fect!

This is my topper this year. Two white love birds.

And the food tree in the kitchen. I found a small alpine that holds the food-ornaments perfectly! This year we are going to hit up some after Christmas sales for some more fun foodies!

Like the pretzel...

And the soup...

OK- are you in the Christmas mood yet? How many of you have your Christmas shopping done?
