Three words: Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes.

Stupid Pinterest.

Without the incredibly awesome website, from which I have made my new go-to for an image search engine, I wouldn't have known about this recipe.

What's that I hear? Oh, probably just my jeggings ripping. It's that kind of recipe - but totally worth it.

This weekend consisted of a lazy Saturday morning with my hubby and these sweat-pant-worthy pancakes. Why make the 'Just add water' kind when you can have these?

These are so easy, a monkey could make them. First you make the pancake batter. Then make the cinnamony swirly gooey stuff and put it in a zip-loc. Swirl the heavenly goo into the pancakes and flip when bubbly. As you see below, the swirl starts to melt and bubble and caramelize.. oh my.

Once flipped, the pancakes are fluffy and moist with a river of crunchy and sweet cinnamon goo. What could make this better? Don't forget to add the cream cheese frosting on top!

P.S. This is our new go-to recipe for house guests. If you stay the night, this is what we will be having in the morning. It's an awesome recipe and makes your house smell like a bakery too!
