Tight with Malachite

Today I'm crushing on Malachite. I think it's the swirly texture that gets to me. A marbly thing, every piece is different! Real Malachite is pretty pricey and really hard to come by. But, the pattern is used in anything from wallpaper to pillows. Check it.

So fun in a hallway, somewhere you aren't spending a ton of time in.

These boxes could be placed anywhere for a little pop of emerald green.

A steel gray take on Malachite. I like it.

And shades? Sure!

What about you? Do you crush it?

Hi Lauren, You know how I love to needlepoint. I have both of his (Gartner) needlepoint books. I have a chair identical to the one you picture just sitting in my craft room....waiting on a needlepoint to recover. I copied a link to one of his books from Amazon. Tracey

That would be so fun! Let me know if you recover it, I would love to see it.

I adore malachite! I agree with you- something about the swirly texture is just so dreamy.
