Sometimes, things that are well planned out.... work in a space beautifully. We saw these chairs as high potential and bought the set of eight. The upholstered back was fun, but the vintage cane was in perfect condition, so we decided it should be showcased.
So we stripped the fabric, and painted the chairs a glossy black.
The seat cushion was cute and all in a 80's peach... but it had to go. Then we added a dynamite jet black chinoiserie fabric to join the vintage chairs in the modern and Chinese inspired dining room. And let's just say I'm obsessed.
I love the way the fabric changes when it hits the light and you can really see the pattern, but blends in when needed.
The dining room chairs are so fun paired with the vintage chrome rectangular table. Unexpected and fabulous.Stay tuned tomorrow for more pics from this clients room!

They look awesome in their new little black dresses! Did you find them here in Wichita? I was trying to put my finger on the store but couldn't.
The chairs are wonderful, but... I want that painting!! Did you find that or did the homeowners already have it??
